TITLE: Algebra and Arithmetic of Plane Binary Trees

ABSTRACT:
Plane binary trees underpinning Thompson's group are closed under union operations.
We exploit this property to implement arithmetic operations recursively over such trees.
Some applications of this arithmetic over multivariate simple functions are useful for 
non-parametric density estimation and regression.  The primer will give some insights 
into the algebra and arithmetic of plane binary trees for statistical purposes.
